Background check, day one, part two

350

Hi!
Another card from the first day at Background check.
For this card I used my Gansai Tambi Watercolors to create the background and the stamp comes from Two Paper Divas.

Background check, day one

Hi!

I'm just taking the class Background Check at Onlinecardclasses.com and it's a great class with a lot of background techniques. I came up with these two cards on the first day.

For this card I used distress inks for the background and stamped it with a background stamp from Hero Arts sprayed with pearlized water. It's hard to show the shimmer in the photos.

Stamps: Hero Arts, Gummiapan
Distress Inks, embossing powder, perfect pearls.

I love the class and I hope to share another card from the class soon.

Thanks for your visit!

Hi!
This Monday I'm sharing another card with some patterned papers. I also used a stamp from Simon Says Stamp to create the flags, it's actually an ice cone stamp. And again I got to use my old Dymo Label Maker.

This time it's one of my sketches on Kortskissen #314. I made two cards, I didn't really like the first card, see below, so the final card is the one on top of the page. Very different styles.
I'm trying to use some more of my patterned papers, I have collected a lot and they are still unused.
Please check out the other cards Kortskissen #314.

Card #342

Hi!

Now it's vacation for me but Kortskissen continues and I wanted to make a card with some summerfeelings. I usually interpret sketches literally, but this time I got a little carried away :-). It was fun anyway but maybe it's hard to see the sketch in this card.
Please check out the other interpretations here Kortskissen #313!

Enjoy your day - Card #339

Card #339
Hi!

Hope everything is fine with you. The weather in Sweden has been really warm this weekend. I can hardly be outside, so I had to spend some time in my craft room :-)
I got some new stamps from Two Paper Divas to play with and I really wanted to do some heat embossing with this stamp.

Have a nice day!
